Our Story
Swapping people for pups, Natasha followed her lifelong passion for dogs and retrained as a professional dog groomer in 2024.

After completing her City & Guilds Level 3 qualification, she set out to create Dames & Dukes Dog Grooming, a space rooted in care, connection, and a holistic approach to grooming.
​
Located in the village of Pilsley near Chesterfield, our newly refurbished studio offers a calm, safe, and welcoming environment designed with your dogs comfort and wellbeing in mind.

We believe in more than just a good haircut. By building trusted relationships with both dogs and their owners, we work with you to create grooming routines that are realistic, gentle, and tailored to your dog’s individual needs. Supporting healthy skin, a happy coat, and a more relaxed grooming experience for everyone.
Meet Natasha
Hi, I’m Natasha, the hands and heart behind Dames & Dukes Dog Grooming.

After years working in HR, I followed my passion for dogs and retrained as a professional groomer, and I’ve never looked back. I was fortunate to learn under an award-winning grooming mentor, gaining skills like hand stripping and other breed-specific techniques that allow me to tailor every groom to your dog’s unique needs.

The name Dames & Dukes is a personal nod to my own surname, and a reflection of the care and personality I bring to every appointment.
​
At my one-to-one studio in Pilsley, I’ve created a calm, welcoming space where your dog’s wellbeing always comes first. My approach is rooted in compassion, trust, and transparency. I respect that every dog is different, and I’m committed to continual learning.

When I’m not grooming, you’ll usually find me out on a walk, spending time with my own dogs, reading, or discovering new local spots to eat.

I look forward to welcoming you and your dog, and working together to create a grooming routine that supports their comfort, confidence, and health.
